UN POCO DE HISTORIA:
La
Clase Pt 2/4 H era una evolución de la Pt 2/4 N pero con vapor
sobrecalentado. Fueron utilizadas para traccionar trenes cortos y
rápidos de pasajeros.
Las máquinas tenían un sistema de
alimentación por gravedad, con una tolva sobre la rejilla, lo que
permitía la operación con un sólo hombre en cabina. También era
novedoso que se pudiese acceder al tren directamente desde la
locomotora, a través de las puertas en los testeros y de pasillos
laterales.
Todas llegaron a la Deutsche Reichsbahn, que hizo modificaciones en las cabinas de alguna de ellas. La última Pt 2/4 H fue retirada en 1943.
